I am excited to share that I have been selected as part of the 2025 cohort of poet/artists for the Writing The Land Project in collaboration with the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance. I will be visiting and collaborating with the David Hunt Preserve to craft 2-3 poems with and about the land
Temperatures here the past few weeks have been dancing between 40-50°F, and the formations documented in this visual poem, were all gone within days as the water returned to it's liquid form. The last time I recall the lake freezing over completely for more than a few weeks was about 7 years ago.
Working on a new series in collaboration with lithic, deep-time agents - spanning eons and eras. More to come as this series progresses, but very excited for the stories I hope to transmute through their traces
