To say I was beyond excited to receive an acceptance letter from the Center For Humans and Nature for my submission of Our Shared Language is Silence – an essay and images dedicated to my deep connection with petric deep-time travelers, is an understatement. The Center For Humans and Nature elevates an amazing cohort of artists and writers who are deeply connected to more-than-human kin, sharing means of how we can re-establish our place within the natural world in an effort to foster deep reciprocity and stewardship for the planet we call home and that supports our existence. I am beyond grateful to be part of this cohort of writers, artists and scholars with the publication of my piece, and happy to be able to finally share this good news with those who follow along with my work.

Many thanks to the folks and editors I worked with at the Center for including me in your ever so important publication.

As a collaborator with the more-than-human, her work attempts to transmute their material experiences through archive + art. She is interested in exploring and opening spaces for speculative communications between more-than-human agents + humans as a means of presenting alternative perspectives to anthropocentric histories + imagined futures.
