This series is comprised of self portraits taken between 2015-2024, and digitally hand-manipulated as a means of reevaluating self and my connection to the natural world in an era where technology has taken over almost every facet of our existence.  These images mimic the naturally occurring formations and layers of various mineral found in geologic samples, echoing large and small scale deep-time events, the settling of sediments or the turbidity of chaotic environments.  Digital | Mineral is a homage to the various mineral elements that encompass my being and to the very foundations that support life on this planet.
